Welcome to RideOne. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RideOne website at rideone.io, the RideOne booking platform, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Ride One, LLC (“RideOne,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
RideOne provides a booking and management platform for hot air balloon flight experiences. Our platform enables balloon operators to sell flights, manage bookings, process waivers, and communicate with guests. RideOne acts as a technology provider connecting guests with balloon operators.
2. User Accounts
Certain features of the Service may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information as necessary.
3. Bookings and Payments
All flight bookings made through the Service are subject to availability and the specific terms and policies of the balloon operator providing the experience. Payment terms, cancellation policies, and refund policies are set by each individual operator and will be presented to you at the time of booking. RideOne facilitates the transaction but the flight service agreement is between you and the balloon operator.
4. Waivers
Participation in hot air balloon flights requires the execution of liability waivers. By booking through RideOne, you acknowledge that you will be required to sign a waiver prior to your flight. Waivers are managed electronically through our platform for your convenience.
5. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to RideOne’s SMS program, you agree to participate in our two-way text messaging program. This means you will receive messages from us and may also reply to interact with our system and communicate with your balloon operator. You agree to the following:
Types of Messages We Send (Outbound): You may receive text messages related to booking confirmations, flight reminders, weather-related updates and schedule changes, waiver reminders, check-in instructions, rebooking options, and customer service communications.
Types of Messages You Can Send (Inbound): You may reply to messages to confirm or acknowledge bookings, respond to rebooking options, ask questions about your flight, and communicate with your balloon operator through our platform. If you send a message our system does not recognize, you will receive a reply directing you to contact support or reply HELP for assistance.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your booking activity, flight schedule, and your replies. You may receive multiple messages in connection with a single booking (e.g., confirmation, reminder, weather update). Additional messages may occur as part of two-way conversations initiated by you or your operator.
Costs: Message and data rates may apply to both messages you receive and messages you send. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message received from RideOne. You will receive a single confirmation message after opting out. Opting out ends both inbound and outbound messaging. Please note that opting out may affect your ability to receive time-sensitive flight notifications and communicate with your operator via text.

Consent Not Required for Purchase: Your consent to participate in our two-way SMS program is not a condition of any purchase. You may book flights and use the Service without opting in to SMS communications.
Supported Carriers: Our SMS service is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: Your phone number, message content, and the information you provide via SMS will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or message content with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: violate any applicable laws or regulations; impersonate any person or entity; interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code; or use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ride One, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The RideOne name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Ride One, LLC.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. RideOne does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. RideOne is a technology platform and is not the provider of balloon flight services. All flight experiences are provided by independent balloon operators.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ride One, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. RideOne’s total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to RideOne in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ride One, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the revised Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
